Reading Vacation 07/26/2011
I didn’t plan it. In the past, summer vacation always meant working in an office. But not this year. I envisioned myself floundering with all this unstructured time. And then I picked up a book. Downloaded another. I mixed entertaining reads with professional books, contemporary with classic. I now scour websites and book stores for more titles. I’ve begun to get exasperated feedback. “You’re still reading?” “Aren’t you doing anything else?” “Don’t you want to do anything fun?” Yes. Yes. I am. Commentselsie 07/26/2011 7:09pm
Stay the course and read, read, read.

Sign up for Good Reads, which gives so many ideas! This is the best summertime poem. "Yes, yes, I am" says it all.

This sounds a lot like my summer. Learning, enjoying, and devouring. Any books that really grabbed you? Happy reading, enjoy it while you can. :)
